Getting to Zemi Beach, Anguilla
The island cannot be reached directly by air from anywhere outside of the Caribbean, highlighting the exclusivity of the island. Caribbean connection flights to Anguilla are from the following airports: Antigua, Guadeloupe, Puerto Rico and St Maarten.
The above Caribbean airports are accessible via carriers from the following countries:
USA - American Airlines provides daily 3 hours and 30 minutes flights out of Miami to St Maarten. Flights out of New York/Newark are daily to Antigua with Continental and weekly with Delta, who also have weekly Saturday flights to Antigua and St Maarten from Atlanta and New Orleans. Jetblue offer daily flights from New York to St Maarten and a weekly flight from Boston. US Airways provide a daily flight to St Maarten and a weekly flight to Antigua, both from Charlotte. They also fly from Philadelphia to St Maarten on both Saturday and Sunday.
Canada - Air Canada, Air Transat and Sky Service provide weekly flights from Toronto to St Maarten on Saturdays and West Jet have weekly flights from Ottawa and Montreal on Saturdays. Air Canada also have flights from Montreal to Antigua on Saturdays, and three weekly flights to Antigua from Toronto.
UK - Virgin Atlantic provides three direct flights per week to Antigua and British Airways flies seven times per week from London Gatwick direct to Antigua. The flight time to the Caribbean is around 8 hours.
France – Both Air Caribes and Air France provides a daily service from Paris to Anguilla via Guadeloupe and St Barths. The flight time is around 9.5 hours.
Panama- Copa Airlines provides daily flights from Panama City to San Juan and four times a week to St Maarten.
Holland - KLM provides a 10 hour flight three times a week from Amsterdam to
St Maarten.
Caribbean - There are inter-island flights available from Caribbean airlines LIAT, Anguilla Air Services, Cape Air, and Rainbow International Airlines. Visitors can island hop from Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Martinique, St Vincent or Tobago daily. The flight times from these islands range between 30 minutes and 2 hours.
A regular ferry is available daily from St Maarten to Anguilla. They are scheduled to depart every 30 minutes and reached Blowing Point Ferry terminal in Anguilla in 15 minutes. Taxis are available at the airport as well as for travelling around the island.
Buying at Zemi Beach
All the properties at Zemi Beach are freehold.
Non-citizens require an Alien’s Landholding License (ALHL) to purchase real estate in Anguilla and a local lawyer must register the license. Zemi Beach has a waiver for this until 2016.
